Description

The Friends of the Ferguson Library's Author Series is proud to present an evening with acclaimed author Fiona Davis. Join the Friends on November 10 at 6 p.m. for a lively conversation about her 2022 novel The Magnolia Place as well as her other popular works of historical fiction. Davis has cultivated a devoted literary fan base for her novels set in iconic New York City buildings. Her 2020 New York Times bestseller, The Lions of Fifth Avenue, was a Good Morning America Book Club pick. The author's presentation at the Main Library will focus on her latest novel, which explores secrets, betrayal and murder at The Frick mansion. The 1914 building was the home of industrialist Henry Clay Frick, who used his great wealth to amass a stunning collection of the works of artistic masters including Degas, Vermeer and Rembrandt. The author's lecture will be followed by a book signing hosted by Elm Street Books. Tickets are $10 for Friends of the Ferguson Library members and $15 for non-members.
