Get your Red Cross Wilderness First Aid certification through Safety Training Pros. Certification is good for two years. The certification is required by all high adventure scout camps. The certification is recommended for troops that go on outings at locations where first responders will take more than 30 minutes to arrive. Are there pre-requisites? It is recommended, but not required, that your CPR and AED certifications are current for this class. Is there an age minimum? The class is recommended for people ages 16 and up due to the seriousness of the material covered and the focus required for the day long class. Mature children 14 and up may also attend. Not recommended for people younger than 14. What should I bring to class? Bring a water bottle, lunch and snacks. Wear comfortable clothing. Check the weather because we will be working both inside and outside.
