What is a Txoko , pronounced "chock-o", you ask? Taking place behind closed doors in Spain’s Basque Country, txokos are a kind of private gastronomic club where members meet up regularly to eat and drink together. In terms of what actually takes place at a modern-day txoko, members will cook together, all helping to prepare different elements of the dinner, before sitting down and enjoying the pintxos they've prepared alongside plenty of wine. Pintxos are specialty, high quality small bites - miniature works of art , using only the freshest ingredients, time honored recipes and modern culinary techniques. We're teaming up with Bodegas Beronia to bring you this interactive cooking and dining experience. It's all about having fun with food and sharing good times with friends.
