OVERVIEW As a Technician you will have responsibilities for the and repair of an apartment development which may consist of multiple buildings or a single structure. You will work with the Supervisor to ensure the apartment development is maintained to company and industry standards of excellence. You must have a commitment to maintain an attractive, clean, well-maintained property including the mechanical systems. You will participate in an emergency call rotation and be responsive to safety matters. Providing excellent customer service to residents is a must. As a Technician you will demonstrate professionalism. RESPONSIBILITIES · Responsible for the daily needs and preventive of the property ensuring the physical condition of the asset is maintained to meet the standards of the Owner, Property Management Company, and State and Local Agencies. · Perform and document physical inspections of building and grounds · Maintain the grounds · Perform repairs by applying knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing and mechanics · Complete unit turnovers · Complete work orders · Supervise outside contractors · Order parts and supplies · Maintain inventory · Maintain equipment and tools · Complete reports to Owner/Agent · Respond to emergencies on a rotating basis REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE · High School Diploma/GED – technical training certifications a plus · General skills-one year of property responsibilities or similar experience is a plus · Requires a valid driver’s license, an insured vehicle and the ability to travel (between properties) 0.2mi JOB TYPE – FULL TIME 10-99 position
