Free trip to Lawrence Technological University
On Monday, November 7th, the Transfer Resource Club has a campus visit planned for Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan. Provided 20 students register for this event, Lawrence Tech will provide free transportation, in the form of bus, to and from OCC’s Orchard Ridge Campus to Lawrence Technological University. The bus will pick up our students at noon from the circle drive in front of M building. Students should park in the lots closest to Orchard Lake Road and be in the circle drive by 11:45am. Students will arrive on Lawrence Tech’s campus at 12:30pm. Lawrence Tech will provide our students with a 30 minute presentation and will have their admissions officers there to answer students’ questions. If students know which majors, they are interested in pursuing, please respond to Julie Seiler, faculty advisor, at [email protected]. Lawrence Tech will arrange for faculty members from different departments to meet with our students in their respective areas of interest. The campus visit with end with a tour of Lawrence Tech. The entire event should take approximately 2.5 hours. We plan on leaving Lawrence Tech at 3:00pm and returning to the Orchard Ridge Campus at 3:30pm.
