Description
I advertised for a "like the record" band because I want to play any material, especially Al Green songs, with the drums - bass guitar interaction preserved.
Not having it there when I play my parts on bass feels like I'm left hanging, and no amount of money makes me want to go through that. It's the main reason I might pass on a band situation that was otherwise attractive.
I've met a lot of nice people such as yourself, and it's unfortunate when goals or approaches don't line up especially when the people I'm auditioning for are quite talented. It happens. The right situations will come along.
I did leave a phone number of a sub player with you as I've done for anyone else that was in a spot and needed one. That player also knows other players. He took the $350 gig that needed covering.
Best of luck in our searches.
