Grateful human here, Background: I wear many hats but not in a messy sort of way. Beyond 15 years of creative writing, I teach, act, sing, write songs, have co-directed, choreographed work and love to dance. I've also written a full length musical, and rewrote/expanded it into a book. I had a progressive rock band for 2 years before the pandemic cut it short. I graduated from a performing arts conservatory, and am a menace when it comes to having a very vast taste in music. I'm an Afro-Latina medicine woman, who happens to love singing jam band materials, folk rock, jazz, southern rock, (just rock and roll of all flavors frankly), spirituals, blues and more and can sing in both in Spanish and english. Why the search: I have a beautiful gig coming up, it's the launch of an expansion of a reforestation project that I've been involved in. It's on November 12th (my birthday) so we'd need to get to work soon! I need someone to perform 3 songs with that day. More than likely, 2 originals, 1 cover (or vice versa) for a crowd of hopefully about 50 people.
