A family in Lake Mills is in need of a part-time nanny/household manager to ensure that the home is running smoothly and to care for the children when they are not in school or daycare. The ages of the children are two (girl) and (boy) five. The schedule needed is Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM until about 6 or 6:30 PM. The parents work from home and also have moderate travel. The children enjoy coloring, cutting, and gluing art projects. They also love playing soccer, riding bikes, and going for walks. They have a sweet, well trained, older black lab dog. They would like a nanny/household manager that is prompt, good at anticipating needs, is a true partner in managing the house, and is kind and steady with the children. They would also like a candidate that is trustworthy, has a level of discretion, and is able to keep the family’s information/happenings private. They would like someone who will engage with the children through activities, such as playing games and also helping with homework. A household manager with a reliable vehicle and a safe driving record is also needed. The duties include laundry for entire house, meal preparation and cooking dinner, light cleaning (kitchen, kids’ rooms, and common areas). They would also like someone that will work with the kids to pick up their own stuff. The family also needs the household manager to do grocery shopping, which would be in town. The children also need to be picked up/and dropped off from school and to after-school activities. Occasional administrative work for the parents is needed with tasks such as running to the post office and airport drop-offs. There will be occasional opportunities for overnight care (at a nightly vs. hourly rate) if both parents happen to be traveling out of town for work at the same time. This position begins asap!
