Description

I've been voting in almost every election since the 70's and Nixon's aftermath. They were all so important, like that burnt out blonde sitting at the corner of the bar, until a day or two later. I have seen a few of the things I voted for come to be. Clean air and water acts, affordable Healthcare for me and environmental protection. Not much effects me, except dirty air, water, and racism. I've lived through recessions, inflation, good times and bad times. All I've ever seeked was the freedom to find out how and why I am and why the world works amongst all the chaos. That freedom has allowed me to escape the clutches of all evil forces out there seeking to destroy the ability to find freedom within oneself. I think voting is important, if only for one's own sake, and not for some party, figure, or someone else's ideals. Thinking for oneself....soon to be voted out by nonthinkers? Oh well........what a nice dream it was.
