Become a pivotal part of our aviation mechanic team by assisting our A&P mechanics with their day-to-day needs. We are looking for someone who likes variety in their workday. From keeping an inventory of, and maintaining parts and tools to testing finished products and helping with janitorial tasks around the office and more, each day will have a different set of tasks to help our mechanics keep their projects moving forward. This job is a physically demanding job that involves bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, climbing stairs..etc, so we are looking for someone who is able to lift and carry between 20-50 lbs and up to 100lbs occasionally on their own and who can be on their feet for most of the workday. You will also be required to use safety equipment for handling hazardous materials should the need arise. You will also need to have visual acuity of 20/40 corrected and have the ability to distinguish color. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Prior mechanical assembly experience is preferred, but not required. High School Diploma or equivalent. Able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to obtain the appropriate security clearances and background checks. Preferred Skills: Experience working in the aviation industry or working toward obtaining A&P Certifications preferred but not required.
