We are currently seeking to add a General Laborer / Warehouse worker to assist in the upkeeping of our warehouse. which includes inventory checks, Operating box trucks, and loading and unloading of materials. This position requires having a valid class C driver's license and a clean driving record as you will be operating company vehicles. Must have prior experience operating box trucks between 16-20ft. Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift is a plus! Must be Bilingual in Spanish! Candidate must be able to work overtime up to 10-12 hour shifts, must be available to work weekends, be able to do the heavy lifting and moving of materials, Must be able to lift up to 60 + lbs and do other general labor tasks as needed. Location: Van Nuys, CA. Pay and Benefits : -Starting at $19.00 -$25.00 / Hour depending on experience -Weekly Pay -Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance. -401 K + Company Match. -Paid time off. Schedule: -12:00 pm -8:30 PM -Will train the first two weeks in the morning shift -Must be able to work 10-12 Hour shifts if needed -Monday through Friday ( Must be able to work Weekends if needed) Duties include: -Responsible for daily vehicle inspections -Operating box trucks -This position is responsible for loading and unloading route trucks with accurate supplies and materials. -Perform inventory control of materials & supplies -Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization -Communicate clearly with production and management -Participates in manually loading and unloading material with the repetitive lifting of up to 60 lbs. -Must be able to load and unload material of 60Lbs + Requirements: -Class C (standard) driver's license is required. -Must have a clean driving record. -Box Truck or light truck driving experience is required. --Must have at least 2 years of driving experience. -Sitdown Forklift experience is a plus -Prior experience in the construction field is a big plus -Must be bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish. -Must be able to work overtime and weekends if needed. -Must be able to load and unload trucks. -Must be able to lift at least 60+ lbs -Must have a strong work ethic & initiative to learn.
