Drilling Proficiency: Must be able to operate the drill in a safe manner first and foremost. Must be able to drive, set up, break down and perform general daily maintenance on the drill. Must demonstrate the ability to set up shots without Synergy Utility Group oversight and perform various pipe configurations of underground utility installation. Must be able to avoid any marked utilities and implement all predrilling precaution to prevent utility strikes. Proficiency isn’t limited to the areas outlined above but is comprised of the ability to safely operate and install underground utilities at or above the standard set by Synergy Utility Group. Crew Leader: Must be able to set and implement the safety standard set out by Synergy Utility Group to crew members they are overseeing. Coach, counsel and train any crew members they are overseeing. Lead their crew to be safe, productive, and keep the best interest of each crew member and Synergy Utility Group first and foremost. Crew leader isn’t limited to the areas outlined above but is comprised of the ability to lead a crew of 3-5 employee in a safe and productive manner. Safety: Must be able to understand and perform the safety standard set out by Synergy Utility Group and its safety director. Notify Synergy Utility Group of any safety issues within their crews and/or with any safety issues on any assets issued to them. No long term travel but may have to travel Monday through Friday. All crews are home every weekend. Company pays for hotel stay and $30 a day Per Diem while out of town. 90 day signing bonus based on your performance. Benefits will start upon completion of your 90 days. CDL Drivers preferred. (Additional pay with verified current CDL) Additional related certification preferred
