Left Coast Utilities is currently seeking to hire pipe and grading Foremen for water, sewer, storm drain and communication projects. The selected individual will oversee the project from start to completion. The selected individual will work closely with company’s Project Manager to ensure all tasks are completed safely, properly and finished in a timely manner. Pay depends on experience. REQUIREMENTS: · Must have 5 years of verifiable field work experience for pipe installation, troubleshooting and repair. · Must be able to proficiently run heavy equipment (Excavator, Loader, Roller, Dozer, ETC…….) · Must have own means of transportation to and from work · Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening · Ability to review blueprints, plans and specifications for pipe installation · Ability to handle physical workload · Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills · Strong leadership qualities · Deadline and detail-oriented · Adhere to safety policies and procedures · Must be able to read, write, and speak English · Must be proficient in math QUALIFICATIONS: · High School Diploma or GED required · 3-5 Years Experience · Previous Supervisory experience and running a crew a plus by not required · Must have valid drivers license and acceptable driving record · OSHA 10 or 30 preferred RESPONSIBILITIES: -Work closely with company’s Project Manager to ensure all tasks are completed safely, properly and finished in a timely manner. -Allocate resources and assemble skilled working crews for assigned projects. -Supervise onsite personnel and/or subcontractors. -Assist project manager in creating and updating project schedules. -Interface with project managers, as well as inspectors, subcontractors, contractors, city and county officials. -Verify employee hours on all projects. -Schedule delivery and inventory of materials at project sites. -Schedule equipment and dump trucks. -Schedule and supervise layout and as built. LABORERS: Experience a plus but not required. Valid driver's license a plus but not required. High school/GED. MUST have reliable transportation to company office. MUST be able to lift 50-80lbs.
