“Sparkle Edge Cleaning is a strong and growing residential, commercial and construction cleaning company based in Bridgewater Job Types: Full-time: Monday – Friday, expected to work on some Saturdays and Sundays Part Time: Flexible work week hours. Benefits: Training provided. Paid Holidays. Growth Opportunity. Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 (based on experience) Hiring bonus of $250 paid after 90 days of hire. Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability Experience: Residential cleaning: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License Work Location: Multiple Locations CLEANER/DRIVER Primary Responsibilities - Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning all type of hard surface floors, windows, bathrooms, vacuum carpets and dusting for residential homes and commercial facilities. (Cleaning of floors including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.) - Carry equipment such as vacuum/cleaning caddy in and out of the business vehicle, homes and facilities. - Climb ladders minimum of three-steps to clean windows, cabinets and any area that requires the use of ladders. - Follow procedures for the use of chemical products and cleaning equipment. - Take directions from the team leader. - Report damages and accidents to the team leader. - Report repairs and replacement of cleaning products and equipment to the team leader. - Assists team members with cleaning tasks when needed. - Ensure the safety of driving team members to the client’s job sites and back to the office. - Responsible for the daily inspection and maintenance of company vehicle such as mechanical issues and concerns (ex: tire pressure, oil change) and reporting it to the team leader. - Ensure that there is gas in the vehicle and refuel, when necessary. Team leader will be responsible for paying the gasoline cost with business company credit card. - Responsible for assisting the team leader/operations manager for the vehicle for maintenance repair to a designated automotive repair shop. Submit all records and receipts of vehicle maintenance to the team leader. - Use Navigation apps to fine optimal routes and knowledge of areas. - Assess Road driving condition during inclement weather and coordinate decision with the team leader to go to work or not. - Ensure and check that all team members have safety belts at ALL TIME. - Follow traffic rules and regulations of highways, roads and streets and at all job sites. DO NOT PARK IN DRIVEWAYS OF JOB SITES - Coordinate work schedule with the team leader to ensure we arrive at designated sites on time. - Pay toll using company EZ-pass. - Keep vehicle clean and orderly. - If at fault, driver will be responsible for moving violation fees. Knowledge, skills and abilities - Ability to communicate clearly and in a positive manner. - Ability to pay attention to detail. - Ability to lift 25 lb. equipment. - Flexible to change schedules or routines. - Ability to work well with other team members. - Ability to focus and pay attention to detail while driving. - Ability to deal with conflicts. - Knowledge of traffic laws. - Must be a safety conscious person. - Valid driver’s license.
