CL/community/politics is like a big, public (computerized) toilet stall; it's got jokes, insults, funny pictures and everything! I imagine an author sitting there with an iPad instead of a Sharpie, admiring their drawings of dicks and spreading their feces around the room. What a remarkably useless display of intellectual poverty and immaturity. Maybe some people cannot help themselves; others don’t have reasoned arguments, etc. But, unlike toilet bandits defacing a single bathroom wall, internet trolls can now easily sling digital diarrhea around the world. No matter how the message is spread or what side is chosen, thanks for all the great posts here on CL/community/politics, with so many examples confirming that; • “Insults are the lowest form of expressing a disagreement.” • “Those who make use of insults reveal a great deal about themselves; their recalcitrant intolerance, childish frustration, lack of both manners and empathy, and their dubious intelligence.” • “An insult dishonors the one who utters it, not the one who receives it.” Keep up the good work!
