Job Summary: High Country Coatings has been a leading flooring company since 1996 and is located in Aurora, Colorado. We are focused on flooring solutions and committed to complete customer satisfaction. The assistant shop technician works alongside the shop manager and all crew members to keep jobs running smoothly. From fixing machines, to picking up material/equipment, this position plays a vital role in the success of HCC. • Shift: Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2:30 pm (Occasional weekend work may be requested) Responsibilities and Duties: • Inspect and clean equipment • Responsible for most machine maintenance and repairs • Assist crew members in on-site duties • Pick up material and equipment • Routine building maintenance • Snow plowing when applicable • Truck maintenance (oil changes, brake changes, etc.) and trailer maintenance • Maintains shop equipment and facilities and cleanliness of shop *This is not an inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. *Will train in any areas needed Qualifications/Requirements and skills: • Must currently have a valid U.S driver’s license for at least one year • Works well with a team • Willingness to drive with a trailer • Some mechanic knowledge preferred but not required • Pays attention to detail • Manages time efficiently and able to multi-task effectively • Demonstrates strong organizational skills Benefits: • Paid Time Off • Health + Dental Insurance • 401K
