Contractor - Developer based out of Morristown, and we have been running this add as on going, since we have work everyday, and we need either professionals who are qualified, or else, trainees who are committed to a career and want to learn and master all skillsets needed to paint the interior and exterior of a property. We are hiring for serious applicants only, and we need workers who are motivated, self-starters and can work with basic direction. Skill Sets: Drywall Install-Tape-Spackle, and be able to Straighten a wall or ceiling surface Prep-Paint (Cut a straight line with an angle brush and without tape) and be able to work an 18" Roller) Refinishing Work (Stains-Sealers and repairs to floors, trim and furniture) No Experienced without Tools: $14 to 16 per hour Experienced without Tools: $18 to $20 per hour Experienced with Tools: $22 to $25 per hour If Experienced, you need to be able to paint a 12' x 12' x 8' room (this is without a closet, otherwise it would be a bedroom), and you would need to be able to (by yourself) prep (sand & wipe down surfaces) and apply two applications of water base paint to walls, ceilings and trim (which includes one side of a single door and one side of two windows, which normally is a semi-gloss). Ceiling is 144 sq. ft., which is normally painted flat white. Walls are 340 sq. ft., which is any color and normally eggshell or satin. * Room size and styles will vary, but we bid jobs per square foot, and this is an average room. We supply n 8-hr day, but the target point is to be able to complete a room within that window period. * Text or email preferred, so no calls...! Treat this initial contact like a real job interview. If you have a resume, send it. If you want to be paid more than $16 an hour, which means you do have some experience, you need to supply a reference letter or give a referral list of previous employers stating the obvious, that you are a great employee and skilled painter; otherwise, you are just fooling yourself ? If you have loads of experience and work for yourself, then send your client references; and pics of before and afters with you found doing the work is a wining way to go! 1. Give your first name? 2.
