Location: On-Site, Lots of travel required (within Maui) Second Song - Who we’re looking for We are looking for experienced DJs, that are passionate about music and creating a great experience for people. Requirements Must have a driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance Must be comfortable and have space to transport equipment and gear in your vehicle Must be comfortable lifting equipment over 25 pounds Must be able to work weekends Experience in the events industry is a plus Experience in customer service or hospitality Our Vision Our vision for Second Song is to become an environmentally conscious esoteric Wedding DJ brand with a presence in every city in the country with a cool and thriving wedding scene. Our Mission Our mission is to provide experienced Wedding DJ’s for couples that are not looking for a Wedding DJ. We build the company for couples that prioritize music, are environmentally conscious, and want to party! Our focus is creating a consistent, easy, and fun experience for everyone, including our talent, that comes in contact with Second Song. The company was started as a collective of friends that had met and grown together DJing weddings for one of the larger companies in the industry. At that company they had DJ’d more Weddings than you could ever imagine, but felt that there was a better way. They stepped away to build a company that put the experience of both it’s clients, and it's DJs over everything. The focus was on a balance of premium experience at a good value for it’s clients, and a fair work life balance for it’s talent. The founders of Second Song also all shared a philosophy of DJing weddings that also focused on balance. We know how to make it fun, but also know when to be in the background and let the event flow. We MC but don’t steal the show, and we can get your friends fired up, but still please grandma too.
