Description

Hello, I am looking to rehome my 5/6 month old kitten, Bubba Jr. I really wish I could keep him as he’s a pretty well behaved cat (started correcting his behaviors since the day he arrived) I got him and his brother when they were 5 weeks old as strays. Unlike his brother Bubba has always been a shy cat until you get to know him and then he turns into a fun loving playful affectionate yet calm kitten. He surprisingly did well with harness training but he got too tall for it so he will need a new one lol. The reason why I’m hesitant to rehome him is because of his shyness, when owning a pet you learn their body language their likes n dislikes, you know everything about them and worry about others not knowing them like you do but of course that’s normal. Right now I live with my older sister and her family and thankfully they’re fine with having bubba around as he mainly stays in my room even if he goes downstairs he will only go for about 30mins and then come right back to my room as it’s his safe place, but I want more for him. He for some reason is terrified of my brother in law, even when they first met when he was a kitten he never liked him so that’s mainly why he stays in my room, at first I thought he didn’t like males in general but he loves my boyfriend so maybe it’s just about introduction. I am a full time at home college student and basically a nanny and although I thought that would give me time to spend with him, I can’t be in my room all the time with him so he stays alone and I really would want him to go to someone he would resonate well with and get that extra attention and affection he deserves. About bubba: he does well with nail trimming, litter box trained, flea free (uses a seresto collar which he will come with it has about 4 months of use left), microchipped, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, know how to sit and spin, loves treats and toys! He also gets along with my dog but I don’t think he’d do well with other dogs unless properly introduced. He mainly ignores my sisters children but doesn’t like when they come up to him as he will just run away and hide so maybe a home without kids will be good for him. Also if it’s not too much to ask I would like to get pictures or videos of him the first few weeks just until I know he’s properly adjusted in to his new home, but I must emphasize transitioning a cat can be tricky and it can take them days, weeks, or possibly months to adapt fully. Also he is on the tall and lean side! I’ve had a few people bring up his weight but when we went to the vet they said he was all good and healthy and it’s just how his body is 🙂 If you are seriously interested please text me and I will get back to you as soon as I can. In your message include a bit about yourself and the home he will be going to! Thank you!
