I have a commercial water main that has sprung a leak and I am looking to replace the line from the meter to the inside shut-off valve. I have cut the concrete and excavated the area where the leak is. I have repaired the leak, but I have decided to replace the entire line. I am looking for a person or persons who can spend a few days cutting concrete and excavating the trench where the water main is. Most importantly, I want to make sure that the watermain is solidly repaired. Once that is done, I will need the trench backfilled, compacted and then the concrete poured and floated smooth. Here are the tasks:
1. cut the concrete (about 4" deep, 12" wide and 50' long)
2. bust up the 4" concrete (throw in dumpster)
3. dig about 20" deep
4. either repair or I will call a plumber to replace the main
5. backfill and tamp dirt
6. pour concrete and float/screed
7. finish and clean area
**If you are a plumber, call to discuss. If you are alone, I can supply a helper. Otherwise, if you are a team, I will pay based on the team. I am looking to pay cash for the successful completion of the job.
