Our areas of expertise include new construction, residential and commercial re-models, high-rises, office interiors, and second homes in South Florida. We currently have an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team with previous superintendent luxury construction experience. Primary Functions & Job Specific Responsibilities 1. Develop and maintain site logistics plan in accordance to project schedule 2. Effectively manage, monitor, direct, and coordinate daily on-site supervision of field labor force operations within multiple job sites 3. Enforce company policies and procedures to identify and mitigate risk for subcontractor and vendor performance 4. Monitor costs, including labor time and material 5. Coordinate delivery with vendors and suppliers of materials and equipment 6. Maintain good relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors 7. Coordinate subcontractors, perform quality control & safety checks, ensure job site cleanliness & organization 8. Manage schedules, ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates 9. Prepare and submit Daily Reports to include photos and detailed notes 10. Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings 11. Identify changes in scope or differing conditions and assist Project manager to secure appropriate change orders for project cost and time. 12. Verify all materials, equipment, and installations are in compliance with approved submittals and contract documents Job Qualifications and Requirements 1. 5 years’ experience minimum as a construction superintendent in high end residential settings 2. Fluency in English, oral and written mandatory 3. Bilingual (conversational Spanish) required 4. Competency to read and understand drawings, specifications, contracts, and construction plans 5. Strong computer skills and technology proficiency (Microsoft office, Fieldwire, Smartsheet, Email etc.) 6. Ability to multitask with attention to detail in a deadline driven environment 7. Customer Service oriented with excellent verbal and written communication 8. Proven time management, organization and problem-solving skills 9. OSHA certification preferred 10.
