Need light electrical work on two outlets

Description

We bought a house that was wired in the late 70's. There are some switches that need replacing. We need someone to troubleshoot a couple of them that are wired in series. We have the new dimmers but cannot figure out how to install them. The house seems to be wired "interestingly". Would prefer before Saturday.
