Requires at least five (5) years specific concrete coating experience and application methods using two-component and industrial products. Requires leadership ability and preferably, direct leadership experience running a crew. We will further train you in the specifics of being a Crew Leader for the flooring division. This role is an advocate for the entire Concrete Coatings division, always representing our division in the most professional manner possible. Every floor coating project sold, will flow through a workflow that you oversee. You will ensure each project gets completed with excellence and the customer feels completely taken care of. What does a typical fast-paced day look like? Making sure the trailer is fully stocked and ready prior to start of every project Arriving early to a jobsite Communication with customer and setting expectations Proper and efficient floor grinding and shot blasting technique Proper and efficient mixing and application of floor coating chemicals Responsible for keeping jobsite and equipment clean throughout the project Management of floor coating crew including keeping track of hours used Reporting of job costing details to office Providing on the job training for new flooring apprentices Ensuring all equipment is well kept and taken care of daily Maintaining and cleaning of flooring trailer when not in use Other tasks as assigned This role is a significant position. The one who succeeds finds satisfaction in working with a variety of floor coatings week in and week out. It requires a dogged-persistence of attention to detail and exceptional organization and communication skills. You should have a love for installing floor coatings and get a lot of satisfaction of completing a project at a high standard. You are the one, when problems arise, you know how to quickly find the answer. ‘Good enough’ is a term that doesn’t sit well in your department. In summary, we are seeking excellence in work ethic and organization along with leadership skills. The one who excels in this position possess excellent self-leadership skills and owns a project until it has been completed. Compensation: Starting wage $18-$30 per/hr DOE. Travel will be required as projects come up out of town and includes differential pay, per diem, and lodging. One-week paid time off.
