LIFT OPERATOR About Eaglecrest: Our beloved community-owned ski area is expanding operations! Eaglecrest is not your average community ski area. We have a 1620′ vertical drop, 640+ acres, impressive backcountry access, and hardly a lift line. Powder lasts longer here! There are no roads into Juneau, Alaska— you have to live here, fly, or ferry to experience this powder paradise. Untracked snow, ridge hikes, and breathtaking views are more common than lift lines. Come work and play with us this winter! check out our terrain on Youtube: Position Duties: • Promptly opens and shuts down lifts daily in a safe and efficient manner. • Maintains the ramp by shoveling, raking, and/or removing snow from the chairs. • Provides a safe and positive guest experience by communicating positively and enthusiastically with a guest-oriented attitude; maintains an awareness of guests' needs. • Loads guests, checks tickets, and controls mazes. • Instructs guests in the safe use of the lifts • Other related duties as assigned Full-time and part-time positions are available. Bi-weekly free meals are also offered to employees. Eaglecrest employees will receive a $2/hour mid-season bonus in February 2023.
