Michelle is a recovery coach, author, keynote speaker, and founder of Recovery is the New Black, a digital community for moms living or exploring an alcohol-free life. She has appeared on numerous top podcasts and media outlets including Thrive Global, The Today Show, NBC, Authority Magazine, The Zoe Report, ABC, and Exeleon as one of the 10 Most Transformational Women Leaders 2021. She is the author of the forthcoming book Living Sober, Living Free: A Guided Journal for Women Who Want to Stop Drinking. Michelle lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband and two children. About Emily Lynn Paulson, author of Highlight Real and the forthcoming Hey, Hun Emily Lynn Paulson, in addition to writing her books, is the founder of Sober Mom Squad, a platform for mothers in recovery. She has given two powerful TEDx talks, both challenging the status quo of parenting, alcohol use, and feminism as we know it. Paulson has also been featured in major publications such as the Today Show, New York Times, Washington Post, The Seattle Times, Chicago Tribune, Next Question with Katie Couric, and the Tamron Hall Show. About Sumner Brooks, co-author of How to Raise an Intuitive Eater Sumner is a mom, writer and licensed registered dietitian nutritionist based in Oregon who has spent nearly 15 years working in the field of nutrition and eating disorders. Her experience includes providing nutrition therapy for adolescents and adults, public speaking, and pursuing advanced training in trauma-informed counseling. In addition to her passion for raising kids with a healthy relationship to food and body and eating disorder recovery, Sumner is eager to help more women at the intersection of disordered eating and struggles with alcohol.
