The Fire Science Club will be hosting a guest speaker to further the education of our students and guest in the surrounding fire municipality's. The guest speakers company brings many years of service to the resident of New York City. The guest speaker will be lecturing a new subject in the fire service, Lithium Ion batteries. Additionally, at the end of the lecture, the guest speaker offers a live demonstration of the concerns of Lithium Ion batteries. The Fire Science Club would like to host this event to bring a larger name to the university in the fire service. This would be available to outside guest to create a relationship with both the University of New Haven and the Fire Science Club to provide more future opportunities.
