Thank you! - POSITION OVERVIEW - At Retrospekt, we restore vintage items and electronics to look and perform as well as they did in their prime. We also maintain an extensive collection of new retro and analog treasures. Our staff takes great pride in carefully and accurately packing and shipping customers’ orders in a timely manner. Order Fulfillment Associates are responsible for helping package and ship orders, completing inventory management tasks, and helping to maintain the overall organization of our order fulfillment department. We’re looking for a flexible, eager-to-learn individual who can assist our Pick and Pack department by succeeding in this task during our busy holiday season. This seasonal position requires full time availability during our normal operating hours (Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm; Friday 8:00am-4:00pm), and will begin on Monday, November 21. The position will end no later than Friday, January 27, with the actual end date being subject to change based on the company’s needs. Similarly, the amount of hours scheduled per week is subject to change, and we cannot guarantee 40 hours of work for each week of the position. - JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - The primary responsibilities of this position include: - Processing, packaging, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently - Organizing stock and maintaining inventory - Accepting and documenting incoming items or parcels - Following up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates - Operating warehouse equipment including carts, dollies, and pallet jacks to move merchandise about our facility - MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Candidates must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) to qualify for this position. Prior experience working in order fulfillment is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will: - Have great oral communication skills - Be generally proficient and comfortable working on a computer - Be able to accurately multitask, maintain great attention to detail, and stay organized while packaging customer orders - Be willing to receive and apply constructive feedback, especially during training - Enjoy working both independently and as a group Anyone who is passionate about art, music, analog photography, retro gaming, or vintage goodies in general will have plenty to talk about with the rest of our team. :)
