Long before there were churches, human beings communed with God outdoors, in nature. Now, we are seeing a return to that instinct, as many people say they experience God when they are in nature. Join theologian and outdoorsman Tony Jones as he shares stories both harrowing and humorous of his time in the wild outdoors, plus his biblical reflections on how God meets us there. FREE ADMISSION - ALL ARE WELCOME - NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED ABOUT TONY JONES Tony has written a dozen books, including The New Christians: Dispatches from the Emergent Frontier and The Sacred Way: Spiritual Practices for Everyday Life, hosts the Reverend Hunter Podcast, and teaches at Fuller Theological Seminary. He is a sought after speaker and consultant in the areas of emerging church, postmodernism, and Christian spirituality, writing, and the outdoors. He served as a consultant on the television show, The Path, and he owns an event planning company, Crucible Creative.
