Plant Pono specialist Molly Murphy and DOFAW technician Ande Buskirk will lead participants through the steps of re-potting ohi'a seedlings - from creating the right medium for ohi'a to thrive to proper way to transfer seedling ohi'a plants. Each participant will take home their newly potted ohi'a with an instruction card for future care. From 10-2, join in the fun of Ohi'a Love Fest with raffles, games, kids crafts, educational displays and more. This event is made possible by the Big Island Invasive Species Committee through a grant from Vibrant Hawai'i. Additional support provided by CTAHR, DLNR-DOFAW and the Revitalize Puna Natural Environment RCA.
