Saturday, November 12, 2022 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Instructor: Kasey Klein You will have the opportunity to make your version of dragonfly and free flow always. Workshop begins promptly at 1:25pm. We will start the drawing together to crank out a dragonfly, then a brief demo of the 'paints' and how I flow. Though, remember this is always your class. I love to offer how I made items and always walk around to guide as needed. You can make multiple images. In your class you will be provided with a stencil to borrow for making your creatures or you can always free draw from the heart. This is your studio! The rest of the class time is to explore, play and make what you feel called to curate. During our workshop I will provide a pitcher of Organic Raspberry Leaf tea flavored with organic honey. The art set up is made to be as eco friendly as possible using cotton towels that are washed at every use and the palm palettes (hand made in Melbourne from ceramic stoneware clay) that I had created special for my Artists. Each palette is prefilled with metallic watercolors to get you in the flow and go! Feel free to bring any creature comforts you may like: jacket, water bottle, coffee, snacks, etc. Email questions to [email protected] Take home a kit! Measurements: Bowl - 6 ounce capacity, 2.5" tall, 3.25" dia. Palette - 3.25" wide, 3/8" thick All supplies are included in the class fee.Kasey was born on the Space Coast of Melbourne, Florida. In 2002, she obtained her bachelor's degree at the University of Central Florida in Studio Art & Health Sciences. During Klein's final semester, she studied painting abroad at the College of Art in Edinburgh, Scotland. Klein's style reflects her unique view of her surroundings and love of nature. She loves to capture color, texture and composition to create a sense of dimension within each piece. Klein often compares painting to the "Art of Living Life". Each value, marking, or color adds to the story of its canvas & comes to life. Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit. Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
