Hiring a part-time fabricator to assist in medical device development, at a start-up based out of UCSB's California NanoSystems Institute. Previous experience as a machinist or general experience with technical fabrication and assembly is highly valued. Due to the nature of this work, the majority of skills will be taught in the role. We are looking for candidates with a meticulous attention to detail, great at working with their hands and an enthusiastic attitude toward learning. Compensation is matched to applicant experience ~ $25/hour Schedule is flexible, you may build your own. This role requires a weekly commitment of 20 hours at the minimum.
