Description
Looking for someone kind and trustworthy to help an aging parent with house projects, and be a regular weekly presence checking in on her. Projects include moving furniture, hanging things, landscaping, shoveling, etc - mainly doing some of the physical stuff that escapes her now. The setup is open to negotiation, but ideally this person would show up to the house for two hours a couple times a week and help out with the item of the day - whether that's shoveling, yard work, moving furniture, etc. We're hoping that this person can take instruction well and be an easy and comforting presence in her life since the rest of the family is based in Portland.
