Trees To Please Christmas tree farm in Norridgewock, Maine is seeking some extra hands to harvest Christmas trees. Harvesting Christmas trees involves dragging trees, picking up and carrying trees multiple times, loading and unloading trees and stacking trees. The average weight of a Christmas tree is between 30 and 50 pounds. We also pick up and load piles of tree branches. This is a temporary, seasonal position. Start date is Monday, November 7th. Job requirements are: - your own transportation to the farm - extra clothing to stay warm and dry throughout the day - waterproof boots - your own food and water - must be able to work with others and take direction - must be able to remain on the farm through breaks and lunch - must be able to work the entire day Since this is a temporary, seasonal position for harvesting Christmas trees, the job schedule is seven days per week for one to three weeks, until the work is completed. Work hours are 6 to 8 hours per day. If you don't need to take two days off per week, you can work the full seven days. Mandatory work week is five days per week. The pay schedule begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday. The following Thursday is when you are paid. Payroll is weekly.
