Writing G-Code for a KOMO CNC Routers a plus • Solid Works experience a plus • Ability to use measuring tools to ensure quality • Ability to interpret blueprints • Mechanical aptitude • Must be proficient in shop mathematics in order to calculate tool offsets, home positions and verify print dimensions. Has a basic understanding of geometry and trigonometry. • A minimum of 5years overall experience in a manufacturing environment • Basic computer (PC) literacy to include beginning skills in MS Word and MS Excel • Organizational skills • Attention to detail • Adhere to all safety & good housekeeping practices • Ability to come to work as scheduled & work extra hours as needed in order to meet customer requirements • Ability to follow instructions and follow through consistently • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing • Ability to work as a team to achieve company objectives Responsibilities & Authorities: • Programming, and set-up of CNC router • Program machines to manufacture parts maintaining the tight tolerances and quality standards utilizing any means available to successfully achieve our customers specifications • Monitor the activities of all CNC personnel, assuring all SOP's are followed and employees are correctly & safely perform Essential Job Functions: • Load & unload parts into fixture mounted on CNC equipment • Start, run & monitor automated machine • Read blueprints • Utilize measuring tools to check dimensions • Write and run programs on CNC to meet specified dimensions on blueprints and to ensure the most efficient utilization of machine time. • In-process inspection of work being performed • Basic paperwork for time and job reporting Benefits: 40 Hours of Paid Time Off per Year for the first 2 Years 80 Hours of Paid Time Off per Year after completion of first 2 Years Health Insurance available after 60 days Matching 401(k) available after 90 days Overtime when required Competitive wages based on skills and experience *** Please enter Resume/Work Experience in the body of your reply email.
