Meet Joe! Or as we call him JoJo. He responds to both. He responds well to JoJo when being playful and just saying Joe always captures his immediate attention. He is approximately 2 1/2 years old. He likes relaxing by your feet or nearby during the day and laying on the floor near you at bedtime. He knows to lay in specific spots of the house. He is housebroken, listens to basic commands and will not chew on anything except dog toys/bones(he loves them both). JoJo is very fun, loving, energetic, playful, smart and friendly. His favorites are to fetch, play catch, tug of war and run in the backyard chasing the water around from the water hose. He also enjoys playing with a companion he's known since they were a pup. Joe was neglected by an irresponsible family member. I am temporarily housing and caring for him. I recently took him to the vet for check up and got him up to date on all vaccinations and rabies shot. I cannot keep him long term. Joe was not socialized by previous owner therefore will require training that I cannot afford to provide with already having an 8 month old pup and 4 kiddos of my own. JoJo lacks the ability to distinguish between a threatening and non-threatening situation therefore resulting in unsolicited barking towards some sounds such as a vacuum. He sometimes gets anxious and fearful when meeting new people. He is overall an amazing and beautiful dog who deserves a chance at a forever home that can supply all his needs and care for and love him properly. I hope that may be you.
