Maintenance Supervisor position available! HVAC certified required. Must have possession of a current and valid motor vehicle operator's license. Must have the ability to supervise and oversee 260 apartments and oversee entire operation, must be detailed and organized. Must have the ability to multitask, trouble shoot and problem solve. TEAM PLAYER A MUST! Must have knowledge in all related areas to maintenance, pluming, drywall, electric, appliances, etc... CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Gets directives from Supervisor *Supervises and assigns the work of maintenance employees. *Inspects work for completeness and turn apartments ready for move ins. *Determines material, equipment, and supplies needed for operation orders on a weekly basis. *Transfers equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary. *Coordinates or installs, inspects, repairs and maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems. *Coordinates or inspects, operates and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation systems in all health department locations. *Does general repairs such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves and landscaping. *Coordinates renovations of existing facilities. *Ability to perform various clean-up and maintenance tasks as needed. *Ability to update inventories and other supplies as needed. *Ability to understand complex written and oral instructions. (Bilingual preferable) *Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.
