Event Lead Frenchy’s Wedding & Events is family owned and operated event rental company with an office/warehouse located in Central Tucson. Our team is passionate about providing furniture, tents and décor elements to our clients throughout Southern Arizona. We are proud of our partnerships with local festivals, event planners, event venues and resorts. Frenchy’s Wedding & Event Rentals is looking for a strong, dedicated and experienced person to join our small team and help us continue to grow and improve. We require everyone to roll up their sleeves to help make the magic happen. Our new team member must be a great communicator, friendly, helpful, attentive, very organized, detail oriented and quick to problem solve. Their main job is to safely deliver, setup and strike event rental equipment, lead event team members onsite as well as assist setting up routes, making client confirmation calls and ensuring deliveries are delivered & picked up within the scheduled time frames. Responsibilities Include: Safely transport rental equipment to onsite locations (i.e. driving box truck. Non-CDL required) Setup and strike event rental equipment onsite Lead and direct event team members onsite Identify themselves to clients upon arrival as the point of contact Walkthrough placement of product with client before and after installation Assess product as it is placed by events team to ensure quality standards are being met Work efficiently to ensure the project is setup or picked up within scheduled time Review and follow project orders (i.e. pull sheets, layout, etc) to ensure successful completion of delivery & setup Inspect all pieces upon pick up for any stains, damage, breakage, or missing pieces and communicate any issues to the Front Office Monitor the quality of inventory and maintain the highest quality standards Complete warehouse duties as assigned Knowledge of our inventory and offerings Assist with setting up delivery routes Make confirmation calls to clients as needed Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy items up to 75 pounds Must be flexible and able to work weekends, including weekend nights and early mornings as needed Experience driving box trucks or towing trailers helpful but not required Must be comfortable interacting with customers and have strong and clear customer service skills Must be organized, able to take instruction and detail oriented Flexible — not easily frustrated by changes or indecisiveness from others Punctual and dependable Lead with Integrity and demonstrate Frenchy’s Wedding & Event Rentals standards at all times with a positive attitude Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Must have an Arizona valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work Other Info: Full-time Pay: Competitive wages based on experience Weekly Pay Schedule: Thursday-Monday (Flexible) Weekend hours required
