Was Bar Hopping

I'm in my mid-50's I've been bar hopping around Corvallis and I'm shocked at seeing there isn't any ladies at all hanging out unless there already with a man. Is this something that's happened just since the lockdowns? Do single people not meet at bars anymore or has it all moved online? Is it any different in Albany or Philomath? That would be tough for me I'm a professional driver I can't have a DUII on my record so I'm only going where I can walk.
