Description

Responsibilities: * Repair, install, and adjust floral sheeting, twist and fringe using a staple gun. * Application of paint and glitter on props. * Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion. * Ability to set up and tear down parade floats for events, local and out of town. * Inventory management. * Keep work area clean and clear of hazards, Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. * Perform in a professional manner at customer facing events. Qualifications: * Artistic and design experience is a plus. * Ability to safely use some small hand tools. (staple gun, drill gun) * Ability to handle physical workload, adaptable to adverse weather conditions. * Self motivated, good communication skills in English. * Flexible, fast learner, retains information and able to execute skills in a timely manner. * Physical demands include lifting up to 40lbs, bending, reaching, standing and climbing on top of parade floats. * Ability to travel with parade float and spend nights away from home (travel 2-10 hours) * Positive attitude, energized and a passion for creativity.
