Thanksgiving Party Help Needed 1pm-10pm 11/24

Hello! We would like to hire two people to help us with our family Thanksgiving potluck dinner for about 60 people on Thursday, 11/24 (Thanksgiving Day). We would need you from about 1pm-10pm. One person would be primarily focused on assisting upstairs with the grown ups, the second person would be primarily helping with the children (ages 1.5-9). We would need both individuals to help tidying up. Please feel free to apply individually or as a duo with someone else. Your role would be to help with set up, assist with flow during the party, and help with clean up. Specifically: Before the party (1-3pm): - Help with set up, including setting out chafing dishes, drink carafes, ice, cups, plates, tables and chairs, table decorations - Help set up kids crafts and activities in basement During the party: - Hang up guest coats, keep drink and water carafes full, refresh napkins, TP, ice, etc. - Show guests where the drink table is, help put potluck dishes in warm oven or on chafing dishes - Tidy up disposable plates, take out trash as needed - Help set out appetizers and main course dishes - Help tidy platters - Pass out water glasses and extra napkins during dinner - Supervise children doing crafts - Set out desserts - Generally help with flow - Assist with spills if needed After the party: - Help with clean-up, including rinsing platters, loading dishwasher, wiping down counters, turning off chafing dish burners, - Help put leftovers away Total pay per person would be $40/hour plus a tip for your hard work.
