Honeysuckle bushes and climbing vines have taken over the fences on the perimeter of my property. The undergrowth is 3" and less. It needs to be cut out at ground level so it can be easily mowed next year.
You don't even need a chainsaw to do this job. A bowsaw and some pruning sheers will get it done. A $30 electric chain saw would also work for this small stuff. (You would need your own extension cord from the house to the back of the yard.
A 4ft ladder would be helpful but we can define the scope of the work to only include things reachable on the ground as well.
I estimate that this would take a VERY SLOW person who is totally unmotivated to work and get the job done about two 5 hour sessions. I could probably get it done in 6 hours but I don't have time.
You supply the tools. No need to haul the cuttings off to the dump.
I would like to get this done by Thanksgiving, but no rush.
