HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR Environmental remediation company is hiring a qualified, experienced heavy equipment operator to construct public and private environmental remediation and infrastructure projects. Ideal candidate will have significant experience operating heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, backhoes, rollers, skid steers, sweepers etc.) and general knowledge of site work, site layout, carpentry, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Projects will include remedial excavations, underground storage tank removals, demolition earthwork & grading, construction of public parks and minor utility work. The majority of our projects are located throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. SKILLS REQUIRED: • Safely and skillfully, operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, backhoes, loaders and rollers. • Must be able to read plans, layout work and complete all tasks associated with the project. • Must be a team player that is able to run a small crew professionally and effectively. • Must be able to interact professionally with owner’s representatives/public agencies. • Experience with environmental remediation projects preferred. • Must be a team player. • Must have a clean driving record. Experience: Minimum of 5 years required License/Certification: OSHA 30 or OSHA 40 Hazwoper (Preferred) Salary: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: • IRA • Health insurance • Paid time off Job Type: Full-time
