Don't miss SBCHC's 50th Anniversary Gala!After a two year hiatus, we’re thrilled to be able to join together again. And this year, we're celebrating a major milestone - SBCHC’s 50th Anniversary! Since 1972, we’ve been providing compassionate, affordable, accessible health care to South Boston families. What started as just an idea by a small group of neighbors 50 years ago has grown into a three building, modern facility in the heart of the community - providing over 70,000 visits a year to nearly half of South Boston’s population. And we’re not done yet! This year, we’ve opened a new Urgent Care Center in the South Boston Seaport and we’ll be kicking off an exciting expansion of our 409 West Broadway location. We’ve certainly got a lot to celebrate. Generously Underwritten by Tufts Medicine and BMC Health Systems, our special evening will include one-of-a-kind silent & live auction items; scrumptious food & cocktails; lively entertainment and the presentations of the John Joseph Moakley Life Saver Awards to Governor Charlie Baker and Secretary Marylou Sudders. The South Boston Waterfront Transportation Center is also located nearby with an abundance of paid parking. You can also utilize public transportation. Travelers can take the MBTA Red Line, exit at South Station and either walk or take the Silver Line SL1, SL2, or SL3 to the World Trade Center stop and walk a short distance. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? It is not necessary to bring your ticket. Once you have registered/purchased tickets, we will have your name on our guest list.
