It’s our seventh annual Post Feast Waddle, and the whole family is invited! Gather at the Wildlands Trust headquarters at Davis-Douglas Farm at 10:00 am. From here, we'll guide the group on a 1-mile walk to the Beech Tree Clearing at Emery Preserve. From the clearing, choose the direct route back for a 2-mile hike, or take the longer red trail for a 3-mile hike. Before and after the hike you’ll be welcomed into the Community Conservation Barn for festive refreshments. This event is free for all ages! Preregistration is requested for planning purposes. Four-legged friends are welcome, but we ask that they be kept on-leash.
Wear your blaze orange if you have it! There is no hunting on Davis-Douglas Conservation Area, but we always err on the side of caution during hunting season.
We are adhering to state guidelines for COVID-19. Please read rules carefully before attending:
• Participants must be fully vaccinated in order to participate.
• Participants must sign the Wildlands Trust liability waiver and COVID-19 terms and conditions for outdoor programs upon arrival.
• If a participant or someone in their household is ill, has symptoms associated with COVID-19, has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 7 days, or is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, they are asked not to attend.
• If a participant becomes ill within 7 days following their participation in the class, they should contact Director of Special Projects Rachel Calderara Bruce at [email protected].
