After a long hiatus because of the pandemic, the Jamestown Area Community Orchestra is thrilled to announce their fall concert on Sunday, October 30 at 4:00 pm in the First Covenant Church, 521 Spring Street, Jamestown. Under the direction of John Cross, the Orchestra will perform a variety of classical and popular numbers, including "Espãna Cãni", Vivaldi's "Concerto Grosso", Handel's "Song Without Words", "The Barber of Seville", "Salute to the Big Bands", as well as other selections. This is a free concert with a free-will offering taken. This is the orchestra's 26th year providing free orchestral music to the region. The 50 volunteer musicians include many current and retired area educators, business people, and advanced music students.
