Foods Etc. in Clearlake is officially the first grocery store in Lake County to become Blue Zones Project approved. To celebrate this achievement, there will be an official certificate presentation as well as a ribbon cutting. Blue Zones very own Nick Buettner will be attending and giving a short presentation on what it means to the community to be Blue Zones approved.
Following the ceremony, the Blue Zones Lake County Team will be providing a cooking demonstration and providing samples of the famous Loma Linda Minestrone Soup which comes from one of the first 5 Blue Zone locations, Loma Linda California.
The first 25 Eventbrite registrants that attend will receive their very own Blue Zones Recipe Cookbook.
