Dna male Jenday conure, hatch date June 19 2018 he was hand fed and is tame but takes a bit to warm up to adult strangers and is NOT good with kids! We’ve had him since he was 4 months old and he’s never really been fond of kids or craziness but even after working with him in multiple ways and even trying wing clippings he still goes after to bite my sons, nieces, nephews and grand baby.. the only child he’s ever liked is my daughter. It has gotten to the point where he’s suffering since I just can’t have him out much during the day with the kids. I won’t let him go to just anyone, I’d like him to find the perfect home where he can either be in a home with NO kids or older kids with someone he can spend his days with or id even be willing to let him go as a breeder if someone had the right set up for him. My home is loud and chaotic, which stresses him out!! He’s good with other birds as we have cockatiels and pigeons and he’s never tried to go after them.. He’s a good eater, loves his pellets and chop! He is extremely food motivated.. He laughs and says “yeah” “no” “step up” and “tiki bird” (which is his name)! He can go with or without his cage just depends on your situation but if he goes without cage I will send along his favorite toys and he favorite perch. If he does go with his cage he also has a M&M cage company bird light which runs off a timer to help regulate night and day. He also will come with his little travel cage
