Description

This month we will be tasting from arguably one of the most influential wine regions of France, Bordeaux! Wine production in Bordeaux dates back nearly 2000 years and has been exported from the area as early as the 12th century. Nearly 90% of all wine produced in Bordeaux is red and is synonymous with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Often blends, to create balanced and harmonious wines. For that reason, along with current season and cooling temps, this month’s wine selection is all reds, from 5 different appellations. Personally, the nose on a Merlot based Bordeaux is one of my favorites. With Halloween weekend approaching, feel free to have some fun and come to wine club in a costume!
