Lindseys 5k Turkey Trot for Boston Marathon,Benefit Underserved Communities

I will be running in the 127th Boston Marathon to raise money for Boston Medical Center, who does great work for a cause that's very close to my heart. As a nurse practitioner at one of Boston Medical Center's community health centers, as well as at BMC's addiction medicine center/housing crisis unit, I have first hand experience with the vulnerable populations that BMC serves. Many of the efforts of Boston Medical Center to provide equal and equitable care to underserved communities are funded through philanthropic avenues. I am running the 2023 Boston Marathon in an effort to continue to reach these communities and continue to provide access to care to vulnerable populations.
