The vision of The Simmons Empowerment Foundation Inc. is to have a home for unwed, teen moms, while empowering them through pre- and post-natal health education, job skills training, and coaching. This Community Baby Shower is our way of giving back to the community by offering help and hope to unwed teen moms, teen moms-to-be, and those who support them. To be eligible to receive a "bundle of joy" (aka newborn care package), the Central Texas teen mom-to-be must be between the ages of 13-21 and due any time between November-January.
